The hut consists of a wall perimeter
on which a thick steeply sloped roof of bulrushes rests (F1 -

F3).the
ground level is divided into
two rectangular rooms of which the larger
is 5.85 m long by 3.85 m wide.
The smaller room is 4.15 m long by 2.65 m wide.
This room originally served as a stable for the animals by which the
hunters came to the hut and had a separate entrance. In the larger
room at ground level there is a fire place and a wooden staircase that
leads to the upper level consisting of a loft also in wood.
Outside there are four lapidaries in the walls whose inscriptions are
reproduced at the beginning of this illustrative account. Inside there
is some memorabilia of Garibaldi.
