A few days after

hunters are brought in: Alessandro Fabbri, Giovanni Santucci and
Michele Galvani. |

della Scala and count Curzio Rasponi del Sale. |

Union and other patriots of Romagna found the Garibaldi's Hut
Conservation Society. |

down again by an arsonist and faithfully rebuilt under the guidance
of the engineer Giovanni Baldini. |
| 1975 |
|
To save the hut
from the water of the Baiona tideway and subsidence of the Ravenna
area the Conservation society has it
raised by 125 cm from the
original level. The Society has the wooden access
bridge replaced by
a cement one and also has a water supply provided for the benefit of
visitors and school trips. Some
pine trees, privet and
tamarisk are
planted which, besides creating a more
evocative welcoming
appearance, protect it from the wind and summer sun. |
| 1981 |
|
The Municipality of
Ravenna builds a stone protection to ensure the solidity of the
landfill on which the hut stands which was being threatened by
erosion due to the movement of tidal waters. |
| 1998 |
|
The track leading
to the hut is raised by depositing 65 cm of rubble and reinforced -
at some points - with large blocks of rock and the planting of
new privet and
tamarisk plants. |
| 1999 |
|
The Municipality of
Ravenna raises the level of the
bridge to remove it from the high
tides and continues the work of
replanting the track and the parking
areas. Along the access track to the hut a memorial stone is
laid in
memory of the partisan struggle. |
